I. In power we entrust the love advocated

"This night is filled with cries
Of dispossessed children in search of paradise
A sign of unresolved ambition
Drives the pinwheel on and on."
In Power We Entrust the Love Advocated
Dead Can Dance
Sadness. I feel a deep sadness, but its arms are affectionate. It embraces me like a child. In its caresses, it speaks to me of an ancient and forgotten place. It speaks to me of love and death; I can feel a fervor, almost a devotion to this mystical pain.
The pain of losing all hope is sacred, transformative; I pity the fools who fight for lost causes. In the end, we all perish before the inevitable, but it is precisely behind the false veils of hope that the verdict of our destiny is engraved in stone.
Twilight... I am in love with dusk, the sun is more beautiful in its agony.
Darkness... a prayer that dissolves into the peace of an eternal nightfall.
Forgotten... the melody that hides behind the weeping.
The heart is like a ship
Carrying Love as the sailor
Facing a dark storm
Lost in a sea of despair
The waves strike it with uncertainty
Slowly leading it to shipwreck
Beyond the nocturnal horizon
Oh Lord!
Does the promised land exist,
for this Love forged in solitude and melancholy...?
