The Pilgrim as a personal myth

The backbone of The Pilgrim is an illustrated tale that narrates a mythical journey of inner transformation. Over the course of 22 chapters, the story follows a symbolic path divided into three parts — Inferno, Purgatory, and Paradise — inspired by the Dantean structure of The Divine Comedy. The text is a poetic metaphor addressed to the inner child of an adult, inviting an encounter with one's own shadows, wounds, longings, and memories. Each chapter corresponds to one of the project’s illustrations, weaving a deep connection between word and image. This section presents 8 of the 22 chapters as a glimpse into the narrative and visual universe of The Pilgrim.
